Welcome to CesareanScar.com
Friday, April 23, 2010 at 8:42AM Only a couple of weeks old, Jill from The Unnecesarean suggested I put the site in blog format, so that's exactly what I'm going to do. It will also allow everyone to RSS Feed it and see when new posts are up.
I am disabling comments, however. I feel the stories need a voice, not critiques; empathy, as far as I'm concerned, is implied.
There are no rules regarding how your story should/needs to be/could be told. I launched the site with three things:
1. Take a picture of your scar.
2. Tell us what your scar says when you look at it.
3. Tell us what your scar says when you touch it.
This is not a recipe for the posts, but a suggestion for getting your thoughts/feelings flowing. Share what you can, what you want and what you need to.
I offer an enormous and humble thank you to the women who generously share their photos and stories. You will never know how many lives your words will affect. You are brave and power-Full women and I/we honor you with my/our entire being/s.
